Thank you for checking out my site. Here's a little bit about me:

I shot my first wedding in the late 1990’s and haven't looked back. After multiple requests, I made it an official business in 2004.

I spent 12 years working as a media specialist for a government agency in the Richmond area. During this time, I utilized my photographic skills to help grow the agency’s social media presence and to help educate the public on issues related to safety. I maintained my business on nights and weekends while working full-time. I, along with my wife, Anita moved to Lexington, VA so Anita could advance in her career. I have since retired from working with the government so I can focus on growing my business in a new market.

This move has allowed me to expand my business’s reach and I am now available to travel internationally for weddings and large events.

My style is characterized best as photojournalistic and a relaxed approach to capturing your most precious moments. As much as I am aware of posed images being a necessary evil to achieve photos you will like, my true goal in every session is to capture you being you, which in-turn will deliver images you will love and cherish forever. During our session, when you become comfortable and often times not even knowing that I'm taking a shot, you will be showing your true self. Those are the moments I truly want to capture for you.

FAQ: Is Lüc really your last name?

- As a matter of fact, it is not. Contact me to solve the mystery, but let's just say that most people cannot pronounce my last name and "Luke" is the common compromise.
